DERRY City have reached the semi-final of the FAI Irish Daily Mail Cup after a 3-1 win over Wexford Youths tonight.
The Candy Stripes were down early in the game when Molloy opened the scoring for Wexford with a strike on just minutes.
And manager Kenny Shiels had to wait until the stroke of half time when Rory Patterson equalised.
Twenty-two minutes later Lukas Schubert was hitting the high notes when he bagged a goal to give the Brandywell side the lead.
And Barry McNamee rounded of the game with a third goal easing Derry into the semi-final.
In the other games, second placed league side Cork City thumped Shamrock Rovers 5-0 at Tallaght in Dublin,
SSE Airtricity Premier League leader Dundalk beat UCD 1-0.
