Ian Anthony (6) was steadiness personified recording 39 points in the weekly Thursday Open Stableford played at Prehen yesterday, taking top spot after a triple tie break went in his favour.
Aldwyn Leckey (12) took second place over North West member Jim McLaughlin (18), thanks to a superior last six holes total.
Jim had the consolation of being the best of the visitors on the day.
James Lindsay (scr), another of the North West visitors, had a very impressive 37 points to take the best gross prize.
Prehen’s greens in particular are coming in for a lot of praise and credit for this goes to the hard working greenkeepers so ably led by Conor McLaughlin.
