City of Derry Spartan Mark Mullan put in an impressive display to win the Boom 10k in Coleraine yesterday.
The Derry runner broke away after a three-way battle with host club Springwell Running’s Rhodri Jones and Kevin O’Boyle, of Ballymena Runners, to break in the tape in a time of 35.31 with Jones second on 35.44.
O’Boyle took third place a further 11 seconds behind on 35.55.
